Automatic update function for Shewhart control charts and histograms with all saved user settings (43 parameters)

Button [Automatic update of graphs with Shewhart control charts]

This feature provides the unique ability to configure automatic chart updates with a selected timeout, or to use a list of customized charts (with all user-applied settings, from selecting a data file before rational grouping of data ) to quickly open them with updated data. The number of chart groups and the length of the list of charts in the groups have no limitation on the number of positions stored in them. All working chart settings (parameters), and today there are already 43 of them, which are made by the user, are saved in the properties of each chart from the list.

If you need to make changes to the settings of a chart previously added to the list, you need to select its name from the drop-down list in the auto-update control panel, then select new chart parameters, and then, if you want to save it under the same name, click the [Add chart] button. , the graph data will be overwritten. If you want to add a new name for a setting, change its name before clicking the [Add schedule] button.

All auto-update list settings are saved in the program's SQLite database and are loaded automatically when the program is restarted. For multiple changes, for example, the path to data files, the folder for saving pictures and their format, you can edit records directly in SQLite using the program DBeaver Community (Open-source version)

Settings are not saved intentionally scaling control card and demo removal points (subgroups).

Attention!
Each time you open a chart from the list, the data is reloaded from the selected source and all parameters and settings saved by the user are applied to it. When adding a data source file, new data will be reflected on the chart when it is selected from the drop-down list or in auto-update mode with a set timeout.

If you delete rows in the data source with the original data that were taken into account when the graph was saved in the list, you will have to re-configure the affected graphs and resave them in the list, for example, for functions fixation of control limits or constructing control limits for individual series .

Adding new data at the bottom of the source data table (normal option) does not require any adjustments.

For the convenience of managing large lists, a window for sorting, searching and filtering according to the auto-update list is provided. The auto-update list has no restrictions and can contain control chart graphs for all key characteristics of all aircraft parts and components.

Checking the [Save in graphic format] checkbox allows you to automatically save graphs when walking through the auto-update list in user-selected ones. folder and file type, for example, in vector (PDF, SVG) or high-resolution raster format (PNG, 300 dpi).

This function allows, for example:

  • provide graphic copy files with control charts to involved employees by selecting appropriate folders for saving, and the folders themselves can have restricted access;
  • connect automatically updated graphic files-copies of control charts to corporate applications: CAD (CAD)- , PLM- , ERP , MES- , LIMS systems , through links.
